Most yogi/surfers would agree that a strong yoga practice compliments a day of surfing like red wine paired with chocolate: they are just so much better together. If you’re looking to keep up your practice while you’re here in Punta Mita, or would like to try yoga for your first time, our best suggestion would be for you to work with our private yoga instructor during your stay at Villa Lunada–think yoga on the terrace during sunrise over Banderas Bay. But for those who are feeling a little more adventurous, we also have a list of great local resources to contact if you’d like to take some classes in town or at a nearby resort.
Private Yoga Instruction at Villa Lunada
Practicing yoga on our world-class outdoor terrace offers the yogi of all levels an opportunity to expand their discipline in the midst of sweeping views of the endless Pacific waves. Practice in solitude, or arrange for our resident yoga instructor to lead you through a customized, creative flow. Muscles are warmed, elongated, and stretched; body and mind are deeply connected through breathwork and meditation. Our concierge will be happy to arrange as many sessions as you’d like.
On a side note, Villa Lunada would make the perfect location for a small yoga retreat augmented by SUP, surfing and snorkeling.
